Mission:
To grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Founded:
In Phoenix, Arizona in America, 1980, when a group of caring volunteers helped a young boy, who was fighting leukemia at the time, fulfill his wish to be a policeman.
Achievements so far:
Make-A-Wish have made approximately more than 350,000 wishes come true worldwide since 1980! And they were helped from generous doctors and over 32'000 volunteers!
Most successful achievement:
Make-A-Wish have finished making a documentry film called "Batkid Begins" and it tells the tale of 5 year old Miles, who has leukemia and wished to be a real superhero. Back in 2013, thousands of volunteers turned San Fansisco into Gotham City. Miles had said that Batman is his favourite superhero and wanted to be like him, so Make-A-Wish decided to make him into Batman's partner in crime-fighting, Batkid.

The charity wants us to donate money, so that they can continue making wishes come true.
Wishes:
There are different type of wishes that Make-A-Wish do:
-I wish to go... (to DisneyLand, to New York, and see a panda, etc...)
-I wish to be... (a princess, a policeman, a superhero, a chef, etc...)
-I wish to meet... (Micheal Roux JR, Adam Sandler, Tony Parker, Justin Bieber, etc...)
-I wish to have... (a pony, a room makeover, a motorcycle, a PS3, etc...)
